三角形-椭圆复合微孔织构化机械端面密封性能的数值研究Numerical Study on the Sealing Performance Textured with Multi-shape Texture Pattern Combined with Triangular and Elliptical Dimples

摘要(Abstract):
通过构建三角形-椭圆复合微孔机械端面密封的几何模型;利用数值模拟的方法计算出三角形、椭圆及三角形-椭圆复合微孔织构化密封端面流场的压力分布;系统考察结构参数织构深度h_p、织构面积率S_p、三角形、椭圆微孔偏转角度α,β;工况参数密封间隙h_0、动环旋转速度n等对密封端面性能参数的影响。结果表明:当h_p=4~5 μm,三种织构化端面的承载力F、流体膜刚度K均能获得最大值、且泄漏量Q可以控制在较低水平;当h_0<4 μm时,三角形-椭圆复合织构化端面的承载力F、泄漏量Q、流体膜刚度K均优于其他2种单一微孔织构化端面;当α=15°、β=10°~20°时,三角形-椭圆复合微孔织构化密封端面具有最佳的综合密封性能。
A geometric model of mechanical face seal textured with multi-shape pattern combined with triangular and elliptical dimples was constructed.The pressure distribution for triangular dimple,elliptical dimple and the multi-shape surface texture can be obtained by numerical simulation.The effect of structural parameters (e.g.texture depth,h_p,texture area ratio,S_p,the deflection angle of triangular dimples,α and elliptical dimples,β) and operational parameters (e.g.seal clearance,h_0,rotating speed,n of rotating ring) on the performance of mechanical seal face were analyzed,including texture depth,hp,seal clearance,h_0,texture area ratio,S_p,rotating speed,n of rotating ring,the deflection angle of triangular dimples,α and elliptical dimples,β.The results show that when surface texture depth,h_p=4-5μm,the maximum value of the load carrying force F and the film stiffness K and a lower leakage rate Q can be obtained.When the seal clearance,h_0<4μm,sealing performance parameters including load carrying force,F,leakage rate,Q and film stiffness,K of the multi-shape texture pattern are better than the other two single dimple patterns.When α=15°、β=10°-20°,this new multi-shape surface texture pattern has preferable seal performance.
